Atomic Habits Chapter 1

Looking for improvement in everything you do.

Aim for 1% of improvement every day in everything you do.
It is so easy for us to overestimate the goals we set, and then believe we need to make massive action.
what starts as a small win or a minor setback accumulates into something much more over time.
Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement.
When we make 1% improvements it'll be slow and lead to healthy results, where as if we make 1% bad decisions (example: putting something off until last minute) will cause toxic results
It doesn't matter how successful or unsuccessful you are right now. What matters is weather your habits are putting you on the path of success.
Habits take time. Give it time before seeing results.
Change can take years to see the results.
The task of building a good habit is like cultivating a delicate flower one day at a time.
Forget about goals, focus on the system on reaching that goal, set realistic action steps to achieve the goal.
Goals are about the results you want to see. Systems are about the process that lead to the result.
If you want better results, then forget about setting goals. Focus on your system instead.
The purpose of setting goals is to win the game. The purpose of building a system is to continue playing the game.
It's commitment to the process that will determine your progress.

Summary
Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement. Getting 1% better every day counts for a lot in the long-run.
Habits are a double-edged sword. They can work for  you or against you, which is why understanding the details is essential.
Small changes often appear to make no difference until you cross a critical threshold.  The most powerful outcomes of any compounding process are delayed. You need to be patient.
An atomic habit is a little habit that is part of a larger system. Just as atoms are the building blocks of molecules, atomic habits are the building blocks of remarkable results.
If you want better results, then forget about setting goals. Focus on your system instead.
You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.

100 Days to Brave Day 1

"For i am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you. Do not fear; i will help you."
        -Isaiah 41:13 NIV

Brave is being ready to face and endure danger or pain; and showing courage.
There is no formula or rules to help one develop bravery.
Being brave is organic and spiritual and a unique journey for each person.
Brave people don't stop hearing the whispers of fear. They hear the whispers but take action anyway.
Being brave is hearing that voice of fearin your head, but saying "okay, but the truth is God made me on purpose and for a purpose.
Bravery can open  doors to the greatest changes in your life.
